K-pop queens BLACKPINK did it again.

The comebacking quartet set a new record as their new song “How You Like That” became the most viewed music video in the first 24 hours of release, according to YouTube.

Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rosé made their much-anticipated return on June 26 with the release of “How You Like That.” Along with that, the song’s music video was uploaded on YouTube at about 5PM (Philippine time) on the same date.

Bulletin Entertainment inquired with YouTube about the number of views the music video got in its debut.

Based on the official count of YouTube, BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” garnered 86.3 million views in the first 24 hours of release to become the new No. 1 biggest all-time music video debut.

In addition, “How You Like That” music video set an all-time record for the biggest YouTube Premiere with 1.66 million peak concurrent viewers, YouTube added.

With the feat, BLACKPINK overtook K-pop superstars BTS whose music video “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey held the No. 1 spot since last year.

“Boy With Luv” MV got 74.6 million views in its debut on April 12, 2019 to set a new record at the time in addition to being the fastest music video to reach 100 million views in two days.

About a week before the release of “Boy With Luv,” BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love” became the most viewed music video in the first 24 hours on YouTube when it garnered 56.7 million views, eclipsing  Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next,” which recorded 55.4 million views.

“Kill This Love” eventually became the No. 1 most viewed K-pop music video globally on YouTube in 2019 with 669 million hits.

Last November, BLACKPINK set a new record when their “DDU-DU DDU-DU” music video reached 1 billion views on YouTube, the first K-pop group to achieve it.

YouTube’s top 10 all-time most viewed music videos in the first 24 hours are:
