The Philippine music industry has lost another legend with the passing of “Haring Solomon” hitmaker.

Musical legend Pedro G. Santos, also known as Boy Sullivan, died last June 26, Friday at the age of 83.

Sullivan started the Novelty Genre in Philippine music industry when Vicor Music released his 1st album in 1972 with his greatest hit of all time “Haring Solomon” (May Alagang Pagong).

It was followed up by two more albums in the same year that all went gold and platinum in less than a month.

Other hit songs of Sullivan are Kikay, Pinagbigyan (Anak Ka ng Pu…), Itlog at Mani, the classic Mang Gusting, and a lot more!

Before the “Haring Solomon” fame, he was one of the original members of The Big 3 Sullivans together with Mar Lopez and Apeng Daldal.

During the 80’s, all his songs were monster hits for the Pinoy OFW’s in Saudi Arabia and other middle east countries…

Sullivan is the father of singer/composer and musical director Charlie Fry who’s following his steps from noveltty song to parody songs!

Dubbed as Pinoy Parody King, Fry is the composer and singer of today’s Pandemic lockdown favorite song by the netizens like the ‘Oh Meyor,’ ‘Quarantine,’ etc.

The wake is at San Sebastian Chapel at Barangay San Sebastian, Hagonoy, Bulacan and internment will be on Tuesday, June 30, 2019.
