The “Noli Me Tangere” musical adaptation is set to stream online today in celebration of the national hero Jose Rizal’s birthday.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the Vibal Group in collaboration with Gantimpala Theater Foundation, announced that “Kanser: The Musical” will be available on its Facebook page at 7 p.m.

“Kanser” is based on Rizal’s classic novel “Noli Me Tangere” written in 1887, which was considered one of the instruments that sparked the Philippine Revolution in 1896.

The musical is written by Jomar Fleras and under the direction of Frannie Zamora. Some of the cast members are Myramae Meneses, Kiel Alo, Carlo Mañalac, and Carlo Angelo Falcis.
