While reminiscing recently how her hit “Sa Iyo” from her 2003 debut album came about, Sarah Geronimo teased she just might release a new version of the song.
She posted a short clip of the music video of the song on Instagram.
“Sa Iyo was released over 17 years ago. Grabe how time flies! Ang bilis ng panahon!” she wrote as caption.
The 31-year-old star recalled her struggles with self-confidence then as she was just starting to carve a name for herself in show business.
“I was so nervous and shy! Pero this was just the beginning at sobra akong thankful for all the blessings that came into my life,” the Pop Star Princess related.
“At para sa mga naka appreciate ng Sa Iyo, stay tuned baka mag refreshed version coming soon para inyo.”
Meanwhile, Sarah received congratulatory messages from her managing company, Viva Artist Agency, after the announcement of her latest career milestone.
“Congratulations to the one and only Asia’s Popstar Royalty, Sarah Geronimo (@justsarahgph) because her hit song “Tala” has reached 141 million views and it’s now the ‘Most Viewed OPM Music Video’ on YouTube!,” they said.
Last year, the “Tala” music video resurfaced from 2015 to become an even bigger dance craze.
