Let’s All Hope and Pray we Make it To The Finals this Saturday out of 72 Countries Around the World. We are so Proud of You All getting in to All the Categories,” read a post on the group’s Facebook page.

According to previous reports, The Brightlights’ young national prize-winners and titleholders are trained and managed by Melissa Ferraren, the Filipina owner of MelGMedia Events and Productions.

The group is said to be the first Filipino band in Ireland to stage a “sold-out concert” in Dublin late last year.

Because of the global pandemic, 2020 WCOPA is being launched as a virtual competition from July 24 to Aug. 2. Among the competition categories are acting, dance, instrumental, vocal, vocal self-accompaniment, model, and variety arts.
