
It’s take two for Greenday’s concert in Manila in 2021 with tickets to the new date now on sale.
Events producer MMI Live announced concertgoers may now book their seats for the new date, March 13, 2021, which is the band’s first concert line-up for next year as seen on their official website under the tour section.
Their next stops after Manila are in Taipei, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, then Singapore on April 1.
It was February when Bulletin Entertainment reported that amid concerns over the COVID-19 outbreak, Green Day has had to postpone their upcoming shows in Asia, including that in Manila.
“We have unfortunately made the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming shows in Asia due to the health + travel concerns with coronavirus. We know it sucks, as we were looking forward to seeing you all,” the statement read then.
“Green Day Live In Manila 2020” was scheduled to take place on March 14 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
“…but hold on to your tickets we’ll be announcing the new dates very soon,” the band promised.
Green Day, which is formed in the East Bay of California in 1987 by lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt, is known for their songs “21 Guns,” “Wake Me Up When September Ends,” “Basket Case,” and “Boulevard Of Broken Dreams” to name a few.
