Halsey took to social media recently to address speculations about her pregnancy.

In an Instagram story on Tuesday, the American singer said:

“Why is it ok to speculate and pass judgement about fertility and conception?”

“My pregnancy was 100% planned, and I tried very hard for this bb. But I would be just as happy even if it were another way,” she added.

Halsey, who previously admitted to suffering a miscarriage in 2015, made public she is expecting her first child with screenwriter Alev Aydin last January. 

Real name Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, she made headlines prior saying she is bisexual.
