Asia’s Limitless Star recently collaborated with Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista through the track, “Everybody Hurts,” under Universal Records.
It was produced by a Swedish production company that also managed to work with acts like BTS, Icono Pop, Red Velvet, The Veronicas, TWICE, and many others.
“Everybody Hurts” features the theme of perseverance and positivity. It provides listeners a dose of inspiration and reassurance that everybody may feel hurt and down sometimes, but they’ll surely find better days if they keep their heads up high.
Speaking of “hurt,” Julie was also asked how she mends her heart.

“Actually, lahat tayo ay may kanya-kanyang heartbreaks. Inevitable din naman yan. But I think ang pinaka magandang gawin is really to reflect and reconnect with yourself. Cause when you do that you’ll be able to find the things na anong makakapagpagaan ng loob sayo.”
She said people should discover new things about themselves so that they will feel “more open.”
“Try to pull out yourself out there din. Kasi may mga kanya-kanyang paraan tayo to cope up. So explore. Find your sense of freedom kahit na masakit. Eventually lilipas din naman talaga yan.”
Julie also advised those going through hard times to surround themselves with people who support, guide, and truly love them.
“Family, as well, its very important. Makakahanap ka kasi ng support system mo kapag kasama mo yung fmaily mo din,” she said.
“Most of all, have faith. Pray ka lang. Eventually, everything will be okay. That’s it. Of course, acceptance is the key,” she added.
More than anything, she’s thankful how most of the time, the pain she’s been feeling helped her a lot with her work.
“Use it as motivation,” she said about the pain.
Meanwhile, when asked to clarify the rumored romance that supposedly developed between her and Rayver Cruz, she said, “We’ve always been close. We’ve been very close. Sobrang close po talaga namin ni Ray and we enjoy each other’s company. Tsaka sobrang okay po talaga kaming dalawa.”
When asked if she’s open to the idea of their relationship going on to become something more special in the future, she laughed and said: “I think nasagot ko na naman to before, kasi si Lord naman po ang nakakaalam ng lahat. So yun lang po masasabi ko. We’ll see.”
According to Julie, Rayver has been a “very good friend” for a “very long time” now.
“Actually isa talaga siya sa mga taong nakakaintindi sa akin. Tapos isa siya sa mga taong pagkukwentuhan ko ng kung anong meron sa akin, anong mga problema ko, pinagdadaanan ko like matters of the heart, sa family and with life. So I’ve always been comfortable talking about those things with him.”
She reiterated how good a person Rayver is.
“Caring siya. Thoughtful siya. He’s really someone you can really count on.”
