Alec Benjamin

Described by TIME Magazine as “a pop storyteller for the next generation,” singer-songwriter

Alec Benjamin brings his exciting brand of music to the Philippines later this year. The 28-year-old artist
who used to promote his music at parking lots of concert venues in his earlier years now has found a
global audience, amassing more than four billion streams, over 70 million in playlist reach, and upwards
of one billion views on his YouTube channel. All this apart from playing in sold-out venues all over the
United States, a far cry from his parking lot promo days.

Touted by PAPER Magazine as “a storyteller who’s mastered the art of turning everyday heartbreak into
compelling pop songs,” Benjamin has had an impressive list of hits beginning with his 2019 mixtape
Narrated for You which included the tracks “Let Me Down Slowly” and “Water Fountain” going Double-
Platinum and Platinum respectively. His 2020 debut album These Two Windows placed at 75 in the US
Billboard 200 and included the track “Oh My God” which earned Gold. Benjamin released his second
album (Un)Commentary in April 2022.

(Un)Commentary features new tracks such as “Devil Doesn’t Bargain,” “The Way You Felt,” “Older,”
“Shadow Of Mine,” and “Speakers” which have combined for over 200 million streams and have been
performed live by Benjamin on hit television shows such as The Late Late Show with James Corden, The
Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Insignia Presents brings Alec Benjamin to Manila for his first concert in the Philippines scheduled on
Nov. 21, at the New Frontier Theater, Araneta Center, Cubao. Tickets go on sale on Aug.
