The police in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia arrested a citizen for harassing K-pop group ATEEZ when they arrived in the country for the KCON music festival.
The KCON 2022 Saudi Arabia was a two-day event held on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 at The Boulevard in Riyadh that featured performances by ATEEZ, P1Harmony, Pentagon, Rain, Secret Number, Sunmi, The Boyz, Hyolyn, NewJeans, Oneus, STAYC and TO1.

When ATEEZ arrived at the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, they were met by fans.
However, one man followed and harassed them, uttering phrases including “F*** you, F*** you, F*** you.”
Saudi Arabia’s Public Security Department, which “ensures the maintenance of public order and provides security coverage for all sites in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” published the photo of the arrested citizen.
“The Public Security Department in the Riyadh region arrested a citizen who appeared in a video clip on social media and uttered words that would prejudice public morals during the arrival of a specialized group at the airport to participate in one of the events in the City of Riyadh. It was stopped and legal measures were taken against him, and referred him to Public Prosecution,” according to the notice.
