  • What are some of the upcoming movies and shows coming up on Disney+?

“We have a lot of new and exciting general entertainment content that viewers can look forward to in the coming weeks including Mickey: The Story of a Mouse – a fascinating documentary about one of the world’s most beloved icons who today is recognized as a symbol of joy and innocence in virtually every corner of the globe. People of all ages will be able to watch Mickey’s intriguing story from Nov. 18!

“On the same day, consumers will be able to stream Disenchanted, an all-new live-action musical comedy starring Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey. It’s the sequel to Disney’s box office hit Enchanted, the story of Giselle, the lovable maiden from the fairy tale world of Andalasia who finally found Robert, her Prince Charming in the kingdom of New York City! Now, 15 years after Giselle and Robert wed, Giselle has grown disillusioned with life in the city, so they move their family to sleepy Monroeville in search of a more fairy tale life.

“Just a fortnight later comes Willow, an all-new action-adventure series based on George Lucas’ 1988 fantasy-adventure film. The story began when an aspiring sorcerer, played by Warwick Davis, is whisked away on a journey to protect an infant empress Elora Danan and vanquish the evil Queen Bavmorda from their world of Andowyne. Now, the story continues with Davis leading an unlikely crew of heroes on a quest to protect Andowyne from an even larger foe than they had imagined possible.

“And, a very special once-in-a-lifetime event that will be livestreamed globally and exclusively on Disney+ on Nov. 21 – “Elton John Live: Farewell from Dodger Stadium” – the legendary singer’s original concert event in Los Angeles as he performs his final North American show. Fans from around the world will be able to feel like they have a front-row seat to witness the ground-breaking magic of the Rocket Man back at Dodger Stadium, 47 years after the performance that cemented his global success. The concert will begin with “Countdown to Elton Live” from Dodger Stadium, beginning at 11:30am PHT on Nov. 21.”

  • What are some of the Asian language titles people can look forward to watching on Disney+?

“One of most significant announcements in APAC this year is our global content collaboration with HYBE, South Korea’s entertainment lifestyle platform company and the management label of the world’s biggest global K-pop icons – BTS. This collaboration represents our commitment to bring globally relevant entertainment from the APAC region to the world. One of these titles is BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA — a cinematic 4K concert film featuring their incredible live performance at Los Angeles’ Sofi Stadium last November.

“I’m also excited about Big Mouth, a new 16-part Korean thriller that recently launched with great success in APAC with an A-list creative team and popular K-drama stars. It’s performing incredibly well to date. A Star Original, the series stars a third-rate lawyer who takes on a murder case in order to turn around his career but soon ends up entangled in a conspiracy.  He is imprisoned as part of the murder case he is investigating and is mistakenly accused of being a notorious con artist.  In order to survive life in prison, he plays the role and becomes the notorious con artist himself.”
